GO Teams


The Global Outreach team is simply a group of people who want to learn more about global outreach and how to be involved!  Everyone is welcome!

The group meets on the second Monday of every month in the Fellowship Hall at 6:00 pm.  Come join us as we pray, study, pray, learn, pray, serve, pray, laugh, pray, get to know our global partners, and the list goes on…and did I mention pray?!

At each meeting, we spend time in our Focus Groups.These groups DO the work as we seek to be great partners with our global partners.

 

 Welcome to the
Global Outreach Team

~New members of the Global Outreach Team will take part in this welcome group.

~Learn how the GO Team functions, about our global outreach program, and the purpose of each focus group.

Prayer Team

~This team will focus on providing our global partners with full prayer coverage

~Works to include the entire church body as well as specific smaller groups (home groups, etc.)

~Handles our special thirty-day prayer focuses

~Prepares and hosts 24-hour prayer vigils

Encouragers Team

~Fills and sends care packages

~Sends emails, cards, letters, and makes phone calls

~Gathers resources for global partners (books, CDs, etc.)

 Internationals Ministry Team

~Promotes interaction with internationals of all ages in our community

~Provides welcome baskets for international college students, hosts holiday dinners and special events, etc.

~Expands the ministry of CHCC to internationals in our community

Families of Global Partners Team

~Sends cards and gifts for special holidays (Mother’s Day, Christmas, etc.)

~Provides support resource materials for families

~Plans and hosts holiday dinners for parents of global partners

~Plans and hosts special events for families
 

 Communications Team

~Helps promote God's heart for the nations in the body of CHCC

~Publishes the global outreach newsletter Ends of the Earth

~Provides building visuals (maps, displays, etc.)

~Promotes Perspectives course

~Plans our Global Outreach Conference

"Comings & Goings" Team

~Plans commissioning services

~Coordinates airport send-offs and pick-ups

~Hosts potlucks and assists with open houses,
   etc. for global partners

~Oversees the Global Outreach Guest House
   at CHCC

~Organizes GO house workday

 GO Kids Team

~Organizes and promotes awareness of global outreach for young people in the church

~Leads the monthly GO Kids  Team meetings (after the meal time – ages 3-12)

GO Teens Team

~Helps CHCC teens form authentic relationships with our global teen partners around the world through prayer, email, FaceBook, and activities during furloughs

~Leads the monthly GO Teens Team meetings (after the meal time – ages 13-17)
